  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup Biscoff cookie butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (to adjust consistency)

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in the yeast mixture, melted butter, water, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Mix Biscoff cookie butter, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth to make the filling.
  5. Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle and spread filling evenly.
  6. Roll tightly from the long side, cut into 12 slices, and place in a greased 9×13-inch dish.
  7. Let rolls rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Beat cream cheese, Biscoff cookie butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add milk gradually until smooth and spreadable.
  10. Spread icing over warm rolls and serve immediately.
